Every year people take the time to selflessly prepare an entire family meal. Sit around and get the kids to settle down while grandma and grandpa give them sweets when parents aren’t looking. Speak in turn what you’re all most thankful for this year. Then at midnight, storm into the department stores looking for any clearance item you can get your hands on…
Every year you hear about people being trampled, going mad, and sometimes even end up getting in fights. Why stay up all night waiting for the doors to open when you can just do all that online (just without the trampling crowds and crazy soccer moms trying to get the last perfect gift to please the never happy mother-in-law)? This Black Friday (November 28) to Cyber Monday (December 1) receive all Jewelry 25% off the entire online store!
At Avianti Jewelry we completely understand wanting to give the perfect gift for your loved one. For your little daughter who grew up too fast, Girlfriend, bride-to-be, wife, loving mom, the mother-in-law and don’t forget about the men!

It’s the month of pumpkins, apples and multiple stones to use for this month full of treats, leaves and autumn changes.
Which brings us to this months birthstone – Opals, Rubellites and Tourmalines!
Tourmaline is a crystalline boron silicate mineral compounded with elements such as aluminium, iron, magnesium, sodium, lithium, or potassium. Tourmaline is classified as a semi-precious stone and the gemstone comes in a wide variety of colors.
Rubellite is a particularly beautiful gemstone from the colorful family of the tourmalines. Its color shines in the most beautiful nuances from red to shocking pink.
Opal is a hydrated formless appearance of silica. Because of its amorphous character, it is classed as a mineraloid, unlike the other crystalline forms of silica, which are classed as minerals. It is deposited at a relatively low temperature and may occur in the fissures of almost any kind of rock, being most commonly found with limonite, sandstone, rhyolite, marl, and basalt.
The internal structure of precious opal makes it diffract light; depending on the conditions in which it formed, it can take on many colors. Precious opal ranges from clear through white, gray, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, magenta, rose, pink, slate, olive, brown, and black. Of these hues, the reds against black are the most rare, whereas white and greens are the most common. It varies in optical density from opaque to semitransparent.
At Avianti, we only use the highest quality of Tourmalines and Opals. The variations in the colors and cuts are endless. However, instead of showing everything, here are a few of Avianti’s custom, hand-made items.
Tourmaline occurs in every color of the rainbow and also in combinations of two or three colors.
Tourmaline was highly desired by royalty in the Far East. The last Empress of China, Empress Dowager Tzu His was in love with pink tourmaline. Tourmaline became valued in Europe when the Dutch began to import it from Sri Lanka in the early 1700s.
Opals are also the Wedding anniversary gemstone and are given as gifts for the 14th and 18th year of marriage.
The color of opals is mainly determined and caused by the gem’s selective absorption of certain wavelengths of light called the body color.

The June Birthstones are Alexandrite and Pearls. Both of these items are very beautiful and vary in color.
Pearls come in a variety. There are Fresh Water Pearls, Tahitian Pearls, Black Pearls and Mabe Pearls. Avianti Jewelry has many beautiful items with Pearls.
This is Avianti’s Vintage Pearl and Diamond Ring on Etsy.
This is our Tahitian Pearl Pendant on our website here.
This is our Black Pearl and Diamond Earrings on our main site.
Alexandrites are a very rare making hard to come by, an expensive stone and most are synthetic. The reason Avianti do not use Alexandrires, is due to those reasons and we do not want to sell cheap and fake stones.
There is one question many people ask: “Why do Alexandrites appear to hange color in the sunlight vs the artificial light?”
Here are the 3 main lights with the effects on the gems.
The radiant lighting contains a higher balance of red light and the Alexandrite appears red to a person’s eye.
Alexandrite effects the aspect of an observed color change from a greenish hue to a reddish with a change in source illumination.
Daylight contains high proportions of blue and green light and the stone appears green to the human eye.

We are specialized to making custom stunning engagement rings, unique pendants and necklaces, and lovely earrings.
This is the journey of a client’s new and beautiful Emerald earrings.
The first thing our jeweler did was, create the flawless Gold Earring setting and set in the accent Diamonds, giving it a real shine!
Once that is done, he connected the gold setting together, getting it ready for the center stones.
After adding a couple more Diamonds to the earring set, he added the stunning Pear cut Emerald.
And the second one…
The process of creating an earring pair like this, is art. The tools are the stones and the Gold, Diamonds and colorful stones to compliment the canvas – the lucky person who wears this masterpiece.
At Avianti Jewelry, we strive to make the customer happy. This isn’t just a business, it’s a passion. There is nothing like seeing someone’s face light up knowing it’s exactly what they wanted.
